Betty Louise (Snow) Lawson

Mrs. Betty  Snow Lawson, age 80 of Mount Airy passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Surry Community Health and Rehabilitation Center in Mount Airy.  Mrs. Lawson was born on December 12, 1941, in Surry County to the late John Snow and Stella Sechrist.  Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother, sister, and friend.  She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.  Left to cherish her memories are her daughter and son-in-law, Donna Lawson Ayers and husband Cossie, son and daughter-in-law Charles Christopher Lawson and wife Teresa; four grandchildren, Christy Prewitt, Jamey Ayers, Elizabeth Lawson, Makayla Lawson; four great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; along with several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parent, Mrs. Lawson was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Everett Lawson; a sister Mary Johnson; and one brother, Paul Snow.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022, at  2:00 pm at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Peoples Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Monday, April 25, 2022, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
