Betty Louise Wright

Mrs. Betty Thomas Wright, 82, of Greensboro, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018, at Moses Cone Hospital.  Mrs. Wright was born October 20, 1935, in Surry County, to Claude and Ada Thomas.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed.  Surviving are daughters, Marilyn Wright, and Connie Burge and husband Garland; sons, Jimmy Rodgers and wife Cindy, Alec Rodgers, Jackie Rodgers and wife Susan, and Robby Wright and wife Jessica; grandchildren, Kevin Rodgers, Dale Wall, Bow Wright, Brandon Wright, Cameron Rodgers, Christopher Rodgers, Joseph Rodgers, Dillon Rodgers, C.J. Wright, Blake Wright, Jennifer Wall, Jamie Wall, Kayla Rodgers, Breanna Rodgers, and Georgia Gale Wright; nine great grandchildren, sisters, Sissy Poindexter, JoAnn Sisk, Mary Terry, and Jeanette Montgomery; and a brother, E.C. Thomas.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wright and four brothers.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 15, 2018, at Blue Ridge Baptist Church by Rev. Wayne Davis and Bro. Don Collins.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
