Betty Louise Jackson Yates

Ms. Betty Louise Jackson Yates, 75, of Statesville, passed away Sunday morning February 19, 2017 at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. She was born in Forsyth County on January 3, 1942 to the late Royce Gray Jackson and Lela Mae Marsh Jackson. She was retired from Home Instead Healthcare. Ms. Yates is survived by her special friend, Larry Kistler; a daughter, Barbara Bowman; two sons and daughters-in-law, Armon Wayne Tyndall and wife Ardella, and Jimmy Tyndall and wife Teresa; seventeen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Rachel Thompson; and a brother, Bobby Jackson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two daughters, Kathy Tyndall Powers and Linda Carol Tyndall Bogle; and three grandsons, Dereck Bowman, Jason Powers, and Gary Tyler Bogle. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday February 22, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Skyline Memory Garden. The family will receive friends on Wednesday one hour before the service.
