Mrs. Beulah Mae Faw Hodges Martin age 69 of 1704 Asbury Road, Westfield, wife of Ed Martin, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2006 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Martin was born in Surry County on November 20, 1937 daughter of the late Rudy Estell Faw and Mary Ruth Parris Faw, was retired from Acme Stone and was a member of Flat Rock Pentecostal Holiness Church. Surviving are her husband, Ed Martin of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Chaplain Charles Atkins of Old Fort, TN; one son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Trelesa Hodges of Mount Airy; two step sons, Johnny Martin of High Point and Jeff Martin of Greensboro; three grandchildren, Harrison Atkins, Breleigh Atkins and Wesley Atkins. In addition to her parents Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Roberts and a step son, Jim Martin. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 1:00 PM at Flat Rock Pentecostal Holiness Church. The service will be conducted by Dr. David Sparks, Rev. Don Whichard and Chaplain Charles Atkins with burial to follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at Flat Rock Pentecostal Holiness Church on Tuesday night from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Piedmont Hematology and Oncology Snack Fund 1010 Bethesda Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27107. Moody Funeral Home is serving the Martin family.
