Beverly Eileen Baldwin

Ms. Beverly Eileen Baldwin, age 57, of Mt. Airy, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018, at her home.  Miss Baldwin was born in Surry County on April 28, 1961, to the late Edward Franklin and Zelda Goins Baldwin.  Beverly will be remembered for her kind smile that touched many people including the folks at Snappy Lunch where she worked.  She will be dearly missed.  Her sister, Becky Baldwin, and her many friends will forever cherish her memory and especially her “babies” Meme Jean and Sugar Ray.  In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Dennis Hodges.  Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, September 30, 2018, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:30 until the time of the service.  “My Big Sister” She always knows where I dream to go and remembers where I’ve been.  She accepted me the way I am and was truly my best friend. She’s always been there for me, no matter what or when. And every time I was with her the catching up would begin. We were perfect sisters until the end.”
