Beverly Diane Gwyn

Miss Beverly Diane Gwyn, 53, a resident of Colonial Care in Mount Airy, passed away Friday morning, February 11, 2011, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Diane was born January 24, 1958, in Forsyth County, and was a member of White Plains Baptist Church. She is survived by her stepmother, Dora Elizabeth Tayman Coble Gwyn of Mount Airy; a brother, Clinton Eli Gwyn, Jr. and his wife, Cynthia "Cindy" Gwyn, of Mount Airy; two stepbrothers, Larry Coble and his wife, Margaret, and James Coble, all of Mount Airy; and her paternal grandparents, John Westmoreland Guynn, Sr. and Hassie G. Guynn of Mount Airy. Miss Gwyn was preceded in death by her father, Clinton Eli Gwyn, Sr. Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy will be in charge of the cremation and arranging the burial to take place in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Cana, VA, beside her late father. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to White Plains Baptist Church, 614 Old Highway 601, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
