Billie H. Clark

Mrs. Billie H. Clark, age 79 of King, widow of Mr. John S. Clark, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Clark was born in Surry County, December 14, 1927 to Hugh Linwood Hennis, Sr. and Mamie Carter Hennis. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be sorely missed by all her family and friends. Surviving are two daughters, Shawn Miller of Hubert, Mary E. Clark of the home; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Brandt Clark of Winston-Salem; Chris and Christy Clark of King; grandchildren; Will Clark, John Clark, Clark Williams, and Taylor Miller; a sister, Margaret Taylor of Mount Airy; and a brother and sister-in-law, Hugh Hennis, Jr. and wife Becky of Mount Airy. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Crossingham. A private service will be held.
