Billie Inez Halstead

         Mrs. Billie Inez Halstead, age 95, of Stuart, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at the Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart.  She was born in Giles Co., VA on April 21, 1925 to the late William Clemons and Lena Long Clemons.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Gail Keaton and Audrey Sue Vernon; four brothers, Samuel Clemons,  Joe Greer, Earl Greer, and George Greer; three sisters, Margaret Clemons, Frances Puckett, and Katherine Romero.  She was retired from Bassett Furniture.

         Surviving are three daughters, Judith Lawson of Stuart, Angelena Goad (Bobby) of Bassett, Jinnifer Vernon of Stuart; two sons, Perry Eugene Hill (Juanita) of Bassett, Danny Puckett of Chatham; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Shirley Williamson of Cascade; and several nieces and nephews.

         A graveside service will be held Sunday, August 23, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Lawson Family Cemetery on Iron Bridge Rd., with Reverend Ricky Wagoner officiating.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
