Billy Aaron Anderson

Mr. Billy Aaron Anderson, 63, of 176 Janice Drive, Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mr. Anderson was born August 25, 1947, in Wilkes County, to Lawrence Aaron and Elaine Southern Anderson. Bill was a truck driver for Quality Print Company and a member of Little Mountain Baptist Church. He is survived by his mother, Elaine Southern Anderson Edwards of the home; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Click Dixon and Peggy and Larry Leftwich, all of Mount Airy; a brother, Bobby Lawrence Anderson of Statesville; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his wife, Martina Easter Anderson; his father, Lawrence Aaron Anderson; his stepfather, Raymond Edwards; and a sister-in-law, Mildred Hartness Anderson. The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 15, 2011, at 4:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Ron Hall and the Rev. Woody Flippen officiating. Burial will follow in the Little Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
