Billy Gray Bingman

Mr. Billy Gray Bingman, 79, of Mount Airy, passed away Friday morning, September 11, 2020, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  Mr. Bingman was born February 2, 1941, in Surry County, the son of the late Sam Wesley and Gladys Boles Bingman.  He was a retired lineman.  He is survived by his wife, Alma Coe Bingman; a daughter and son-in-law, Amy and David Goins; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Charles and Shannon Bingman and Michael Bingman; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Johnson and Susan Bingman; a brother, Herman Buck Boles; and his special dog, Scotty.  A graveside service will be held Sunday, September 13, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Davis Smith officiating.  No formal visitation will be held.  Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the family.
