Billy Jay Bullins

Mr. Billy Jay Bullins, age 69, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. He was born July 17, 1949, in Surry County to the late Oscar Odell and Lillian Elizabeth Doss Bullins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Johnny Bullins and a sister, Lucy Elizabeth Sowder. He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Marie Gantt Bullins; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and DeAnn Bullins and Danny and Sandra Bullins; grandchildren, Corey Eli Bullins and Stefanie O’Brien; great-grandchildren, Connor O’Brien and Kiley O’Brien. Mr. Bullins was retired from textiles and farming and was of the Baptist faith. Visitation will be Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 12-2 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. The service will follow at 2 PM in the Moody-Davis Chapel with Reverend Hank Robertson officiating. Burial will be in Stony Knoll United Methodist Church Cemetery.
