Billy Gray Felts

Mr. Billy Gray Felts, 62, of Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mr. Felts was born February 23, 1948, in Surry County, to the late Harley Franklin and Effie Ola Tickle Felts. He was in the construction business most of his life and was last employed at Ararat Rock in Mount Airy. Surviving are three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Betty and Roger Atkins of Ararat, and Katherine Combs and Rachel and Brady Vaughn, all of Mount Airy; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Wade and Joyce Felts and Dennis Felts, all of Mount Airy; twenty-two nieces; and thirteen nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Felts was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lee Felts. The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 15, 2010, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Bob Josey officiating. Burial will follow in the Dickens Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
