Billy Gray Linville, Sr.

Mr. Billy Gray Linville, Sr., age 74, passed away Saturday afternoon, at Novant Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mr. Linville was born October 13, 1949, to the late James and Earline Linville. From his earlier years in life, he primed tobacco and instilled in his children what hard work was. He drove a truck throughout his life. Mr. Linville was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, that will be dearly missed. He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Deborah Linville of the home; sons, Billy Linville, Jr., Jeffrey Linville, Jason Linville; daughter, Mary Linville; his cherished grandchildren, Emily Hooker and husband Terry, Savannah Linville; one sister, Shirley Linville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray Linville, James T. Linville. Per Mr. Linville’s request, there will be no formal services held at this time. Moody’s of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the Linville family.
