Billy Ray Morris

Mr. Billy Ray Morris, 53, of 401 Pippen Street, Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2008, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mr. Morris was born November 25, 1954, in Forsyth County, son of Nadine Morris Easter. Surviving are his wife, Rita Kay Smith Morris of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Brandi and Eric Mayes of Cana, VA; a son and daughter-in-law, Billy Jack and Terri Morris of Cana, VA; six grandchildren; his mother, Nadine Morris Easter of Mount Airy; six sisters; five brothers; his grandparents, Glen and Bertha Morris of Mount Airy; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 16, 2008, at 6:00 PM at his home. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Jeff Wall. Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy is serving the Morris family.
