Billy Russell Reynolds

Mr. Billy Russell Reynolds, age 78, of Mount Airy, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at the Woltz Hospice Home.  Mr. Reynolds was born in Surry County on June 15, 1941, to Bartie Coleman and Maude Mikels Reynolds.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be dearly missed.  He really enjoyed his “front porch time” watching the birds and waving at neighbors and anyone who passed by.  Among the many who will always cherish his memory are his devoted wife Lydia Atkins Reynolds; a daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Eric Riggs; sons and daughters-in-law, Todd and Bonnie Reynolds and John and Martina Reynolds; grandchildren, Russ Reynolds (Katlin), Lauren Reynolds, Mia Reynolds, Camilla Reynolds, Eli Riggs, Isaac Riggs, Ella Riggs, and Alan Martinez; a great granddaughter, Adeline Reynolds; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn and Edward Cave, Lucy Angel, Darlene and Leon Haynes, Kaye and Grayson Simmons, Faye and Tim Stanley, Kathy and Keff Jordan, Frankie and Mike Simmons and a sister-in-law, Kaye Atkins.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by a brother, George Reynolds.  Funeral services will be held at noon, Friday, August 23, 2019, at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. Dr. Chris Benfield and Rev. Eddie Honeycutt.  Burial will follow in Rock Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service beginning at 10:30.
