Billy Ray Smith

Mr. Billy Ray Smith, age 67, of Pilot Mountain, passed away and Friday, July 26, 2019 at his home.  He was born on March 8, 1952 to the late Warren Harden and Martha Ellen Taylor Smith.  Mr. Smith retired from Pike Electric.  Left to cherish his memory is sisters, Sally and David McBride, Pauline “Polly” Smith; brothers Claude and Loretta, Jackie and Dawn Smith as well as sixteen nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents Mr. Smith was preceded in death by a brother Warren “Junior” Smith.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with services conducted by Rev. Darrell Price. Burial will follow in the Indian Grove Community Cemetery. Family will receive friends Monday evening July 29, 2019 from 6 to 8 pm at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
