Billy Jack Stone Sr.

Mr. Billy Jack Stone Sr, 82, of Mt. Airy passed away Friday, August 19, 2022, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  He was born in Fayette County Tennessee, on August 10, 1940, to the late George and Geneva Broughton Stone.  Mr. Stone was retired from Gordon Radiator.  He is survived by is wife of 34 years, Barbara Wilson Stone; son, Billy Jack Stone Jr, stepson, Rodney Hamm (Tammy), daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy Cobler (Mark), Diane Foley (Chris); stepdaughter, Carol Hamm (John Noonkester); 18 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ben Stone, Jerry Stone (Sharon), John Stone (Betra).  In addition to his parents, Mr. Stone was preceded in death by daughters, Susie Stone, and Patricia Bishoff, sister, Ann Carter; brother, Robert Stone.  A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 2:00pm in Westside Baptist Church Cemetery with services conducted by Rev. Arlis Thomas, and Rev. Steve Johnson.  The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until time for the service at the church.
