Billy Green Wall

Mr. Billy Green Wall, 75, of Siloam, passed Sunday, February 7, 2010, at Northern Hospital of Surry County, with his loving family by his bedside. He was born in Surry County, May 6, 1934, to the late Ellis Green and Metta Doss Wall. Mr. Wall was a retired farmer and a member of Glory Light Baptist Church. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 56 years, Jennie Lee Bullin Wall of the home; three grandchildren, Bridgett "Nickie" Wall of East Bend, Joshua Michael Wall and Kayla Elizabeth Wall, both of Siloam; two great-grandchildren, Trinity and Michelle Tuttle; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Katherine and Pete Atkins of Dobson, Louise Hutchens and Bonnie Poindexter, both of Siloam; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Jerry and Lois Wall of Siloam and George Wall of Mount Airy; and a daughter-in-law, Kathy Lou Wall of Siloam. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wall was preceded in death by a son, Billy Michael Wall; and a brother, James "Toots" Wall. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday February 10, 2010, at Glory Light Baptist church, by the Rev. Keith Jones and the Rev. Glinard Lawson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Home, where his body will remain until carried to the church to lie-in-state 30 minutes prior to the funeral service.
