Billy Wright

Mr. Billy Wright, age 63, born June 2, 1959 in Rockingham County, NC died February 2, 2023 at Dunmore Plantation in Dobson, NC, after an extended illness.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Wright; brother, Jerry Wright and his wife Charlotte; foster mother, Bessie Moore; foster brothers, Winifred, Fred, Ed, Jessie and James Moore. Surviving are those left to cherish his memory, Dunmore Plantation and many friends, cousins and foster cousins; special friends. Thanks to Dunmore Plantation for all their care thru the years and to his many friends, that Billy has met and known.  If Billy called you “old man or old woman” that was a pretty good sign you were his friend.  He will be truly missed.  A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, February 12, 2023, in the cemetery of Mount Hermon United Methodist Church, 811 NC 704 West, Madison, NC 27025.  His body will lie in state at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until 4:30 PM  February 11, 2023. And on Sunday morning from 8:00 AM until time to go to the cemetery.  Thanks in advance for all the condolence, be blessed.
