Bobbi Jo Rutherford

Mrs. Bobbi Jo Easter Rutherford, age 53, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.  She was born in Surry County on April 26, 1969 to Bonnie Yopp Easter Hooley and the late Ronald Jacob Easter.  She was a loving wife, and grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her.  Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 26 years, Steven Rutherford; children, Ocean Collins and  Jacklyn Collins; as well as her pride and joy, the apple of her eye, her granddaughter, Chloe Semones; sister and brother-in-law, Vicky Porter (Thurman); brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronnie Easter (Caroline), Randall Easter (Brenda); mother and stepfather, Bonnie Hooley (John).  In addition to her father, Mrs. Rutherford was preceded in death by a brother, David Michael Easter.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Snow Hill Baptist Church in Dobson with services conducted by Pastor Jason Johnson.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until time for the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Snow Hill Baptist Church in her honor, 1036 Snow Hill Church Circle, Dobson, NC 27017.
