Bobby Joe Collins

Mr. Bobby Joe Collins, 37, of Pinnacle went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Forsyth County on February 21, 1982, to Janice Jester Hammond and the late Joe Collins.  Mr. Collins worked for John Deere and Hitachi Construction Machinery in Kernersville before becoming disabled, and was a member of Pinnacle View Baptist Church.  Mr. Collins was a member of the Shoals Volunteer Fire Department and a First Responder.  He is survived by his wife, Misty Glidewell Collins of the home; daughters, Breanna Collins, and Addison Collins of the home; his mother, Janice Jester Hammond and husband John; a brother, Eddie Collins; a grandmother, Vada Jester; nieces and nephews, April Collins, Amber Barr, Jessie Perkey, Cameron Perkey, Bailey and Warren Kerley, Cole Spencer; special friends, Frank and Heather Perkey, and Seth Beane.  In addition to his father Mr. Collins was preceded in death by his grandfather, Sonny Jester.  A funeral service will be held Friday, September 13, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Pinnacle View Baptist Church with Pastor Ronnie Chamberlin and Pastor Steven Spencer officiating.  Burial will follow in the church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Thursday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Pinnacle View Baptist Church.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Shoals Volunteer Fire Department, 2964 Shoals Rd., Pinnacle, NC 27043,  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
