Bobby Lee Culler

Mr. Bobby Lee Culler, age 71, of Ararat, VA, husband of Nerina Mosley Culler, passed away Friday, April 6, 2007 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mr. Culler was born in Patrick County, February 6, 1936 to Grant Lewis and Madie King Culler. He was retired after forty five years of service with Ararat Oil Company. He loved his family dearly and also loved riding his Harley. Surviving are his wife, Nerina Culler of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Nathan and Glenda Culler of Ararat, VA; Darby and Melissa Culler of Pilot Mountain; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Deborah Brazeau Culler of the home; Loretta and Ralph Hazen of Dobson; and Bonnie and Eddie Hatcher also of Dobson; grandchildren; Melissa Brazeuau, Nathaniel Brazeau, John Dodds, Joe Dodds Beasley, Megan Casstevens, David Hatcher, Valerie Culler and Jessica Culler; a great granddaughter, Sophia Dodds; sisters and brother-in-law, Georgia Johnson and Betty Jo and George Johnson all of Mt. Airy; Dorothy Manuli of Bronx, NY; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Betty Culler of Westfield; and Buddy and Libby Culler of Mt. Airy. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 9, 2007 at Stewart's Creek Primitive Baptist Church, conducted by Elder Walter Thomas, Elder Gary Lowe and Elder David Edwards. Burial will follow in Believer's Baptist Church in Ararat, VA. The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6:00 until 8:00 at Moody Funeral Home. Mr. Culler will lie in state at the church thirty minutes prior to the service.
