Bobby Dean (Catfish) Poindexter

Mr. Bobby Dean(Catfish)Poindexter of Rockford, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born July 19, 1963 in Forsyth County to the late Jesse Clayton Poindexter and Virginia Myrtle(Whitaker) Poindexter.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Poindexter.

Left to Cherish his memories are his loving wife Ramona Lynn (Faulkner) Poindexter & his baby girl precious; his sons, Jesse, Brandon and Justin Poindexter; grandchildren, Hunter, Logan, Dakota, Destiny, Desiree, Brianna
Colton, Evan; sisters, Barbara Ann (Ashburn) and Gail (Johnson) Poindexter; brothers, Troy and Jerry Poindexter; many nieces and nephews.

Bobby Dean worked as a roofer and truck driver .He was a great husband, daddy, grandfather & friend. He was great to anyone if he liked you. Bob loved to fish.

Visitation will be 1-2 pm Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Moody-Davis Funeral Service In Dobson, NC.  Funeral Services at 2pm in Chapel with Rev Ricky Whitaker officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Baptist Cemetery and gathering afterwards in the fellowship hall of Liberty Baptist Church for anyone wanting to come and bring a covered dish or dessert for the family.  Moody-Davis in Dobson is serving the Poindexter Family..
