Bobby Tildon Hardy

Mr. Bobby Tildon Hardy, 70, husband of Ruby Katherine Smith Hardy, of Mt. Airy passed away Wednesday November 1, 2006 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Surry County on June 30, 1936 to the late William Curtis and Edna Muriel Chandler Hardy. Mr.Hardy was a veteran of the United States Army having served our country during the Korean Conflict. Surviving are his loving wife, Ruby, of the home; two step-daughters, Pam Easter of Lowgap and Katherine Freeman of Draper, VA; a step son and wife Randy and Lisa Potts Pickett of Dobson, NC; four step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law Edna Jean and Arlin Stanley of Dobson, NC and a brother and sister-in-law Bill and Brenda Hardy of Dobson, NC. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday November 4, 2006 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home of Dobson with Rev. Jimmy Tucker, Rev. Barlow Stanley and Rev. Larry Stone officiating.Burial will follow in Mt. Herman Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday November 3, 2006 at Moody-Davis Funeral Home of Dobson.
