Bobby Randal Hodges

Mr. Bobby Randal "Randy" Hodges, 39, a loving father, son, and brother, of Advance, formerly of Lowgap, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2007, at Davie County Hospital in Mocksville. Mr. Hodges was born August 8, 1967, in Surry County, to Bobby J. Hodges and Louise Hawks Jenkins. He was employed by Carolina Control Systems, LLC in Gray Court, SC. He is survived by a son, Kristopher Hodges of Cana, VA; two daughters, Kristina Hodges and Karlee Hodges, both of Clemmons; his mother and stepfather, Louise and Bobby C. Jenkins of Gray Court, SC; his father, Bobby J. Hodges of Lowgap; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Sandy Hodges and Shelia and Jerry W. Makas, Sr., all of Winston-Salem; two stepsisters and a spouse, Cindy and Mike Toti and Bobbie Gail Miles, all of Greer, SC; a special niece, Brooke Makas of Winston-Salem; two special nephews, Nathan Hodges and Jerry W. Makas, Jr., both of Winston-Salem; his maternal grandmother, Naomi Hawks of Lowgap; his paternal grandmother, Ella Hodges of Lowgap; and his fiancee, Jennifer Thompson of Lexington. Mr. Hodges was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Raleigh Hawks; and his paternal grandfather, Elmer Hodges. The funeral service will be held Friday, June 1, 2007, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Bill Spurlin, and burial will follow in the Mount Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery in Lowgap. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home, and other times at the home of Naomi Hawks, 122 Teaberry Lane, Lowgap.
