Bobby Ray Jarrell, Jr

Mr. Bobby Ray Jarrell, Jr., 49, of 11154 Olympic Road, Richmond, VA, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2007. Mr. Jarrell was born September 4, 1957, in Surry County, to Okalene Clement Davis and the late Bobby Ray Jarrell, Sr. Bobby graduated from Mount Airy High School, where he was a valuable football player and wrestler. Following his high school graduation, he attended North Carolina State University and was later employed as a truck driver for United Parcel Service. Most importantly, Bobby was a loving and devoted son and brother. Survivors include his mother, Okalene Clement Davis of Richmond, VA; a sister, Candy Early of Richmond, VA; a half-brother and spouse, Bill and Danielle Davis of Richmond, VA; an aunt, Peggy Jarrell Tate of Mount Airy; and a great aunt, Joy Hiatt of Pilot Mountain. A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 9, 2007, at 2:00 PM at Oakdale Cemetery in Mount Airy. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Pam Egan. No formal visitation will be held at the funeral home.
