Bobby Dane Meadows

Mr. Bobby Dane Meadows, age 69 of Mount Airy, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday afternoon July 14, 2024, at his home. He was born September 26, 1954, in Surry County to the late Rev. Lee Meadows and Betty Lou Smith Meadows. He loved music and loved to sing. He was also a member of Fancy Gap Baptist Church and played bass for his church as long as his health permitted. Mr. Meadows is survived by his wife, Cheryl Meadows; sons and daughters-in-law, Steven “Stevie” Meadows and wife Alisha, and Kelly Ryan Meadows and fiancé Tamara Beck; daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Brian Beatty; step-daughter, Amber Easter; grandchildren, Ryan and Ashley Haynes, Rayne Haynes, Autumn Meadows, Kaden Meadows, Kaylee Meadows, and Kinsley Meadows; step-granddaughter, Marley Easter; great-grandson, Elisha Haynes; sister and brother-in-law, Debbi and Ronnie Hardy; a special niece and caregiver, Angie Edwards; and several other family and friends. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by a grandson, Keegan Lester Meadows; sister, Bonnie Easter; and a brother, David Meadows. The Meadows family would like to extend a special thank you to Liberty Hospice and staff, especially Tina, Jessica, Donnie, and Katie for all of the love and care shown to Bobby and the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fancy Gap Baptist Church. There are no formal services planned for Mr. Meadows. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
