Bobby Dean Puckett

Mr. Bobby Dean Puckett, 62, of Mount Airy, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2007, at Universal Health Care in King. Mr. Puckett was born June 27, 1944, in Surry County, to the late William Alexander and Ida Geneva Mitchell Puckett. He was a truck driver for WLA and attended the Salvation Army. Mr. Puckett is survived by four daughters and a son-in-law, Lisa King, Cheryl Doss, and Debbie and Scottie Johnson, all of Mount Airy, and Judy Puckett of North Carolina; a son, Brian Puckett of Mount Airy; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Ruth Durham and Elizabeth and Tony Bowman, all of Mount Airy, and Ruby Day and Annie Mae Bolton, both of FL. In addition to his parents, Mr. Puckett was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Gullatt. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy. The service will be conducted by Captain Ray Morton and the Rev. Adam Collins, and burial will follow in the New Venture Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
