Mr. Bobby A. Randolph, age 73 of Dobson passed away on Sunday July 13, 2008 at his home. He was born in Monroe Co. Tenn. on May 24, 1935 to the late James Russell Randolph and the late Mary Lou Colquitt Randolph. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother James Russell Randolph. Mr. Randolph was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, and was retired from the Surry County Sheriff's Department; before joining the Sheriff's Department he was a Meat Cutter for Twenty Years, he was a veteran of the US Army and served in the Korean War. Surviving is his wife Mrs. Nancy Martin Randolph of the home; his children and their spouses, Lynda and Benny Carter of Jonesville, Sandy R. Eldridge of Elkin, Steve Randolph of Elkin, Chris Snow of Elkin, and Eric and Lauren Snow of Siloam; by eight grandchildren Melissa Macemore, Jessica Macemore, Jordan Eldridge, Molly Carter, Blake Carter, Walker Snow, Caleb Snow, and Clay Snow; one sister Alice Millian of South Carolina; Special Friends Bob and Kim Kaszowski of Dobson. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday morning in the Chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Dobson City Cemetery with Military Honors by Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Honor Guard Mount Airy Post 2019 and Pilot Mountain Post 9436. Rev. Jimmy Tucker and Rev. Doug Cothran will officiate the services. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6 until 8 P.M.
