Bobby Lee Shelton

Mr. Bobby Lee Shelton, age 84, of Winston Salem, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. He was born on November 7, 1933 to the late Kellar Lee and Lela McCraw Shelton. Mr. Shelton proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a loving husband, father and Papa who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.  Left to cherish his memories are his wife Betty Nichols Shelton of the home; daughter Teresa Hill; grandchildren, Chad Foster, Terry Foster and wife Amber, Amber Ellis and husband Curtis, Tyler Hill and wife Sarah; great-grandchildren, Kylee, Zackary and Gabriel Foster.  In addition to his parents Mr. Shelton was preceded in death by a daughter Leesa Hernandez, a great-granddaughter Sophee Foster.  A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Beck’s Baptist Church in Winston-Salem with services conducted by Rev. Ramon Smith.  The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Beck’s Baptist Church 5505 Becks Church Road, Winston Salem NC 27106.
