Bobby Dean Snow

Mr. Bobby Dean Snow, 65, of Dobson, passed away Tuesday night, May 22, 2018, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  Mr. Snow was born November 4, 1952, in Surry County, one of four children born to the late Ottis J. and Bessie Elizabeth Fowler Snow.  Bobby was a self-employed painter for many years and a member of the Christian faith.  He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Jeff Snow of Mount Airy; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Christopher Lee Snow (Sarah) of Dobson and Bobby Dion and Elizabeth Snow of Charlotte; eight grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Shelby Snow and Walter “Junior” Hawkins of Mount Airy; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Snow was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Snow Jenkins; and a brother, Jay Dee Snow.  The funeral service will be held Friday, May 25, 2018, at 2:00 PM at East Elkin Full Gospel Church, with the Rev. Joe Pyles and the Rev. Jeff Wall officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 until 2:00 PM at the church.  Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to East Elkin Full Gospel Church, 11985 NC 268, Elkin, NC  28621.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
