Bobby Michael Speer

Mr. Bobby Michael Speer age 54 of 128 Steve Jones Lane, Lowgap, NC husand of Mrs. Betty McCann Speer was called to heaven Thursday, August 11, 2011 at the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He was born December 14, 1956 in Yadkin County to Dorothy Whitaker Speer and the late Bobby Lee Speer. He was a member of Ladonia Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Betty McCann Speer of the home, a daughter, Telisa Jo Speer of the home, mother, Dorothy W. Speer of Mt. Airy, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Carolyn and Russell Jones of Mt. Airy, and Tiny Speer, Mt. Airy, five brothers and a sister-in-law, Tommy Speer, Eldon and Nancy Speer, Ronnie Speer, Rex Speer all of Yadkinville, NC and Tim and Dianne Speer, Cana, VA several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Mr. Speer was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Reaves and Juanita McCann and his sister-in-law, Carolyn Hutchens Speer. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Ladonia Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Ralph Casstevens. The family will receive friends 12:30 pm Saturday until time of the service at Ladonia Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Moody Funeral Services, Inc. P.O.
