Bobby Lee Willard

Mr. Bobby Lee Willard, age 79 of Claudville, Virginia passed away at Northern Regional Hospital of Surry on Tuesday, May 11, 2022.  He was born in Rockingham County on August 24, 1942, to the late Harry Moir Willard, Sr. and Essie Virginia Lankford Willard.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Katie Sue Childress and Imogene Willard; and three brothers, Monroe Willard, Jerry Willard, and David Willard.  Bobby was one of the humblest people on the planet, he loved to fish and visit with family and friends. He enjoyed going for rides.

Mr. Willard is survived by four brothers, Freddie Willard of Claudville, Ernest Lankford Willard of Claudville, Harry Moir Willard, Jr. of Stokesdale, and Johnny Willard of Stokesdale; two sisters, Irene Thompson of Mount Airy, Darlene Bradshaw of Stokesdale; numerous nieces and nephews.

All services for Mr. Willard will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Patrick County Chapter, P.O.
