Bobby Lee Woodruff

Mr. Bobby Lee Woodruff, 72, of Lowgap, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Woodruff was born in Surry County on September 19, 1943 to the late Gilmer Arthur Woodruff and Eula Rose Golding Woodruff. Mr. Woodruff is survived by his wife Roberta Richardson Woodruff of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Tracie Lynn Puckett and husband Eric of Lowgap; a son and daughter-in-law Mickey Woodruff and wife Cathy of Hillsville; three grandchildren, Mitchell Woodruff, Zach Shelton, and Taylor Shelton; a sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Jerry Taylor of East Bend; a brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Keevy Woodruff of Mt. Airy. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday March 10, 2016 at Roaring Gap Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Atkins and Rev. Mike Casstevens officiating with burial to follow at Fishers Gap Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 12-2 PM on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Roaring Gap Baptist Church.
