Bonnie Ann Ratcliff Mannon

Mrs. Bonnie Ann Ratcliff Mannon, 76, of Mount Airy, passed away on Thursday morning, May 5, 2022, at her home.  She was born in Surry County on October 16, 1945, to the late Coy Everette Ratcliff and Kate Well Pack Ratcliff.  Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Sheila “Missy” Parish, and Jennifer Wheeler; grandchildren, Samantha Miller, Ashley Wines, James Yoder, Amber Sanders, Sara Parish, Rosetta Parish, Cheyanna Wheeler, Jason Wheeler; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Brenda Atkins; one brother, Jr. Ratcliff, and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mannon was preceded in death by a daughter, Renee Ann Grant; her husband of 21 years, James “Papa” Earnest Mannon; three sisters, Peggy Davis, Ruth Atkins, and Iris “Tiny” Senter; and by three brothers, Donald Ratcliff, Doug Ratcliff, and Arnold Ratcliff.  Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Skyline Memory Gardens with services conducted by Rev. Larry Phillips.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time for the service at the cemetery.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Mannon family.
