Boyd Lamon Wall

Mr. Boyd Lamon Wall, 90, of Ararat, NC, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. He was born in Surry County on January 6, 1928 to the late Roy Richard and Nannie Susan Johnson Wall. He is survived by his wife, Iris Shinault Wall; daughters, Lula Collins and Bonnie Poindexter; sons, Aubrey (Mary) Wall, and Howard (Joy) Wall; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great- grandchildren; and one brother, Thomas (Mary) Wall. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wall was preceded in death by a son, Arnold Lee Wall; two great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, Mike Collins; and two daughters-in-law, Debbie Wall and Anna Wall; two sisters, Ethel Shinault and Dorothy Shelton. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy with the Rev. Kermit Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3:00 PM until the time of the service.
