Brandon Lee Gunter

Mr. Brandon Lee Gunter, 22, of Mount Airy, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2010, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. He was born February 6, 1988, in Surry County, to the late Charles Oscar Gunter and Melinda Ruth Williams Gunter Finney. He is survived by a son, Tandin Gunter of Mount Airy; his mother and stepfather, Melinda Ruth and Mickey Finney of Mount Airy; three sisters, Allison Gunter of Mount Airy, Susan Gunter and Melissa Gunter, both of High Point; a brother, Brian Gunter of Mount Airy; grandmother, Betty Williams of Dobson; the mother of his son, Tiffany Hamm of Mount Airy; and a special family friend, Krista Lafferty of Siloam. In addition to his father, Mr. Gunter was preceded in death by grandparents, Bobby Williams and Alice and Victor Gunter. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. David Keaton and Brother Johnny Finney officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Moody Funeral Home to assist the family will the funeral expenses.
