Brandy Lee Hawks Robinson

Mrs. Brandy Lee Hawks Robinson, 19, of 115 Cornelius Avenue, Mount Airy, passed away Monday, October 6, 2008, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was born in Surry County, to Larry Ray and Janet Lee Hawks. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mount Airy Church of God. She is survived by her husband, Patrick Wayne Robinson of the home; her parents, Larry Ray and Janet Lee Hawks of Lowgap; a brother and sister-in-law, Bradley and Jessica Hawks of Mount Airy; her grandmother, Orene Hawks of Lowgap; a great-grandmother, Ethel Hawks Cave of Lowgap; and a nephew, Ryan Adam Hawks of Mount Airy. Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her grandparents, Junior Hawks, Yancy Hawks, and Walter and Barbara Hawks. The funeral service will be held Friday, October 10, 2008, at 11:00 AM at Mount Airy Church of God. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Charles Powers, and burial will follow in the Sandy Ridge Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Cana, VA. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy, where her body will remain until taken to the church for the service.
