Brenda Mae Angel

Mrs. Brenda Mae Lawyer Angel, 70 of Mount Airy, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020, at the State Employees Credit Union Hospice Home, in Yadkinville.  Mrs. Angel was born in Surry County on May 19, 1950 to the late Thomas Ervin and Gracie Johnson Lawyer.  Brenda was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend that will be deeply missed by all that knew her.  Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 52 years, Mr. Gary Tinsley Angel; daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Allen Dixon; son Joseph Tinsley Angel and fiancée Tammy Price; grandchildren Justin Angel, Ashley Van Dyke; step-granddaughter, Stacy Dixon; great grandchild, Trinity Smith; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Danny Pike; brothers, Chester Lawyer and Tom Lawyer.  Mrs. Angel is preceded in death by her parents. A graveside service will be held at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 11:00 am with Brian Poindexter officiating.  Family and friends wishing to pay their respects may do so on Tuesday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.  Moody Funeral Services of Mount Airy is serving the family.
