Brenda Lee Carter Creed

God saw our mama getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around her and said, “Come with me.”  Brenda Lee Carter Creed, 61, of Mount Airy, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022, at Novant Health-Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  She was born April 8, 1961, to Barbara Lee Murray Carter and the late Billy “Bill” Edward Carter in Forsyth County.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister who will be deeply missed.  Left to cherish her memory are children, a son, Mickey Creed and fiancé Erin Pozo, daughter and son-in-law, Pepper and Chris Galyean, and son Colby Luckado; grandchildren whom she adored so much, Caleb Pozo, Christopher Galyean, Victoria “Tori” Creed, Harley Creed, and Lucas Galyean; her mother, Barbara Lee Murray Carter; brother and sisters-in-law, Doug and Melissa Carter, and April Carter; a brother-in-law, Rev. Randy Edwards; several nieces and nephews; aunt, Brenda Sue Durst; several uncles; and her special dog, Fat Boy.  In addition to her father, Brenda was preceded in death by two sisters, Sandra Dee Carter Edwards, and Patsy Elaine Carter Bowman; and by a brother, Billy Wade Carter.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Family and friends will gather at her daughter’s home, 121 Koala Lane, Lowgap, NC 27024.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Creed family.
