Brenda Gae Collins

Mrs. Brenda Gae Collins, age 75, of the Westfield community, passed away at her residence on Thursday, February 6, 2025. Mrs. Collins was born in Surry County, to the late Daniel Fred Stanley and Mary Ruth Stanley. She was a loving wife, mother, aunt and friend, she’ll be deeply missed by her family and many loved ones, amazing church family, her bible study group, and the Westfield Community. Mrs. Collins was a very faithful woman, a true believer and dedicated member of Westfield Baptist Church for many years. She leaves to cherish her loving husband of 60 years(July 3) Larry Collins; brothers and sister-in-law, Arvil Stanley and Ann, Johnny Stanley, Jackie Stanley; nieces and their spouses, Mandy Stamper and John; Mary Ann Stanley, Kristine Hicks and Tony, Lee Bowman, Scott, Terry Corns Channing Martin and Drew; great nieces and nephews, Trey Stamper and Danielle, Madelyn Stamper, Tiffany Hazel and Austin, Katie Lewis and Brian, Benji Hicks and Ashlyn, Hannah Burkett and Thomas, Ashley Carter and Adam, Tyler Corns, Avery Carter, Adalyn Carter; great great nieces and nephews, Axl Hazel, Hazley and Brystol Lewis, Sylvia Grace and Gavin Hicks, Chaning Martin, Drew Martin, and Luke Martin. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by her son, Mickey James Collins; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Louise and Orville Collins. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Westfield Baptist Church, with the Rev. Blake Bowman and Rev. Arlis Thomas officiating. Per Mrs. Collins’ request there will not be a formal visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Westfield Baptist Church, 6713 Westfield Road, Westfield, North Carolina 27053. As she would want everyone to know “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me” Philippians 4:13.
