Brenda Ann Bowman Brady Edwards

Mrs. Brenda Ann Bowman Brady Edwards, age 64 of Mt. Airy, passed away on August 26, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Edwards was born in Forsyth County on April 2, 1952 to the late Mae Bowman. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all that knew her. Mrs. Edwards is survived by a daughter and a son-in-law, Lisa and Warren Ferrell of Charlotte; three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Brady and Carol of Mt. Airy, Gary Ray Brady and April of Sanford, and Bowman and Debbie of Pilot Mountain; nine grandchildren, Jessica Edwards, Brittany Brady, Kristen Kirby, Carter Brady, Zaylee Jean Brady, Kassie Bowman, Jacobpayne Bowman, Richie Childress, and Lea Childress; five great-grandchildren, Dominik, Audree, Rayddan, Dalton, and Leah; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Bunkie Bowman of Pilot Mountain, Geneva Cobler and Carroll of Dobson, and Mecie Pack and Charlie Saxton of Pilot Mountain; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Walter Collins of Pilot Mountain, Jessie Bowman of Westfield, and Ray Bowman and Patricia of Jacksonville; a special friend, Jaccom Rapone ; and a sister by heart, Melissa Lawson.. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Brady; her second husband, Jason Edwards; and a sister, Kate Bowman. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Chestnut Grove Primitive Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Elder Arwood Edwards officiating with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
