Brenda Gail Bryant Holloway

Mrs. Brenda Gail Bryant Holloway, 68, of 816 Marshall Street, Mount Airy, passed away Monday morning, May 16, 2016, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mrs. Holloway was born March 12, 1948, in Yadkin County, the daughter of the late William Harwood Bryant, Sr. and Cleo Annis Wall Bryant. Brenda was a loving and devoted homemaker. She is survived by her significant other, Richard “Dick” Chapman of the home; a son, James Franklin Holloway of the home; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Linda and Thomas Hughes of Pilot Mountain and Anna Meadows of Beckley, WV; three brothers, Larry Nelson Bryant, Bruce David Bryant, and Joseph Necola Bryant, all of Pilot Mountain; and several nieces and nephews, including a special niece and nephew, Teresa and Lee Clifton of Mount Airy. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holloway was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Gray Holloway; a sister, Shirley Hodges; and a brother, William Harwood Bryant, Jr. There will not be a formal visitation or memorial service. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is in charge of the cremation and serving the family.
