Brenda Jean Leftwich Lintecum

Mrs. Brenda Jean Leftwich Lintecum, 57, of 106 Leftwich Hollow Lane, Cana, VA, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, February 26, 2007, while surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Lintecum was born November 18, 1949, in Surry County, to Franklin and Ruth Gates Leftwich. She was a licensed practical nurse with Surry-Yadkin Residential Services and a member of Genesis Full Gospel Church in Mount Airy. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Lintecum of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Billy Fields of Cana, VA, and Pam and Brian Johnson of Ararat, NC; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Michelle Lintecum of Wytheville, VA; five grandchildren, Nick Fields and Casey Fields, both of Cana, VA, Kendra Johnson and Chandler Johnson, both of Ararat, NC, and Harper Lintecum of Wytheville, VA; her parents, Franklin and Ruth Gates Leftwich of Cana, VA; a sister, Glenda Leftwich Fleming of Cana, VA; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger and Janene Leftwich of Ogden, UT, and Rudy and Joy Leftwich of Cana, VA; and several nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Brenda's life will be held Thursday, March 1, 2007, at 2:00 PM at Genesis Full Gospel Church. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Lonnie Gunter and the Rev. Dennis Barnette. The family will greet friends Thursday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM and 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Genesis Full Gospel Church.
