Brenda Sue Parker

Mrs. Brenda Sue Parker, 65, of Mt. Airy passed away Monday, August 16, 2021, at Northern Regional Hospital in Mt. Airy. She was born in Surry County on January 30, 1956, to the late Howard and Della Bowman Edwards. Brenda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband, James Parker; sons and daughters-in-law, James “Dink” Parker, Jr. and Tonya, Jason Parker, Joseph Parker, Jacob Parker and Jennifer; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Helen Pippin, Mildred Horton, and Carolyn Moore; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by a grandchild, Savanna Daie; a sister, Ruby Bingman; brothers, Will Edwards, Clarence Edwards, Troy Edwards, Dean Edwards, Wayne Edwards, and Larry Edwards. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eric Smith, and the Rev. Richard Loman officiating.
