Brenda Lou Phillips

Mrs. Brenda Lou Phillips, 77, of Mt. Airy passed away Monday, August 31, 2020, at Northern Regional Hospital in Mt. Airy.  She was born in Surry County on May 12, 1943, to the late Richard and Mary Landreth Williams.  Mrs. Phillips retired from Quality Mills, and then worked at the Mount Airy News for many years.  She attended Faith Baptist Church.  She is survived by daughters, Terri Trenter, and Kimberly Westmoreland; a son, Jeff Phillips; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Marie Hodges, Peggy and Cecil Hooker; many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her husband, E.J. Phillips; sisters and brothers-in-law, Regina and Bill Wilson, Lucy Collins, Leonard Hodges; brothers, Terry Williams, and Wesley Williams  A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Faith Baptist Church with the Rev.
