Brenda Jean Bobbitt Stanley

Ms. Brenda Jean Bobbitt Stanley age 61 of Mt. Airy, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at her home. Ms. Stanley was born in Grayson County, February 1, 1946 to Bert and Lula Perry Bobbitt. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-laws, Jessica and Miguel Hermenegildo of the home; Jennifer and Danny Hooker of Mt. Airy; seven grandchildren, Cindy Ross, Jason Ross, Angelia Brannock, Timothy Brannock, Brandy Brannock, Billy Joe Ross, and Keith Hawks; three great grandchildren, and a special friend, Roger Crotts. In addition to her parents, Ms. Stanley was preceded in death by a daughter, Mona Lisa (Sally) Ross, a son, Bobby Joe Ross, a sister and a brother. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 29, 2007 at Moody Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Zane Fishel and Rev. Gene Brinkley. Burial will follow in Holly Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 7:00 to 9:00 at the funeral home.
