Bruce Dale Corsnitz

Mr. Bruce Dale Corsnitz, 82, of Mount Airy, formerly of Halifax, PA, passed away Monday, April 1, 2019, at Surry Community Health and Rehabilitation Center with friends and dedicated caregivers, Dwight Seal, Dale Williams, Krystal Hardy, and Annie Bolton, by his side.  Bruce was born December 16, 1936, in Dauphin County, PA.  He was the only child of the late Hiram and Emma Kerstetter Corsnitz.  He was preceded in death by a longtime companion, Charlotte R. Van Buskirk; and his half-brother, Herbert E. Corsnitz.  Bruce is survived by his children, Linda Corsnitz of Springfield, VA, Scott Corsnitz of Halifax, PA, and Bryan Corsnitz of Winchester, VA; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.  After graduation from Halifax Area High School, Bruce spent most of his life in various agricultural pursuits.  The funeral arrangements are being handled by Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.  At the request of the deceased, funeral arrangements will be private and at the convenience of his family.
