Bruce Alvin DeHart

        Mr. Bruce Alvin DeHart, age 73 of Wirtz, Virginia passed away at his home on Sunday, August 9, 2020.  He was born in Patrick County on September 23, 1946 to the late Nash Alvin DeHart and Maggie Hodges DeHart.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a half-brother, Timothy Lee DeHart.  Mr. DeHart faithfully served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

        Mr. DeHart is survived by one son, Bruce Alvin Harris of Danville; one sister, Cathrine Sue DeHart of Las Vegas, Nevada; one half-brother, Keith N. DeHart of Stuart; and one half-sister, Karen DeHart Setser of Stuart.
