Bruce Gerald Shore

Mr. Bruce Gerald Shore, husband of Mrs. Mona Alderman Shore, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born in Forsyth County on September 26, 1948 to Versie Marie Allgood Shore and the late Fred Coolidge Shore. He was a tool designer for A.T.C. after many years of service and of the Baptist faith. A great family man who always put his family first. Mr. Shore leaves behind to cherish his memory, a loving wife of 35 years, Mona Alderman Shore; two daughters and sons-in-law, Shannon and Robbie Thomas of Winston-Salem and Molly and Buddy Snow of Shoals; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce, Jr. "Gerry" and Sharion Shore of Mt. Airy and Michael Lee and Alicia Shore of Dobson; his mother, Versie Marie Allgood of Courtney; five precious grandchildren, Alesha Smith, Zachary Smith, Jacob Smith, Bruce Gerald "Bear" Shore III and Dillon "Scooter" Shore; a sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Steve Willard of FL.; a special friend, Annie Allgood and numerous other friends and loved ones. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at 3 pm by Preacher Seats in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home with burial to follow in Turner's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 until the time of the service.
